As an artist, I always try to challenge myself to base my work around one word and use the different meanings of that word to add depth to the piece, this artist statement is no different. The word grow has really stuck with me recently and it got me thinking about how much I've grown not just as an artist, but as a person too.

When I first started photography, I was in love with taking photos of nature. It was easier for an anxious high schooler to take outdoor pictures instead of recruiting models, but as I grew older and more comfortable in my field, I started to grow into new territory ad found a confidence I hadn't known before. I've loved every photoshoot I've been able to do over the years, from product photography to street photography and even senior photos and engagement sessions!
